A.K.A: kookiyay, Coop Typical Classes: Demo, Engineer How you joined BoNK: Being a TFC fan I played TF2 before release in the Beta. Whisp who I had met a year prior at the Ascendancy Gaming '06 lan sugguested we form a clan, the rest is history. BöNK Lans Attended:Geforce Lan 4, AG Winter WonderLAN, AG Never Never LAN 3.0, Intel Lanfest 2008, AG Summer[S]LAN, Nvision '08, Showdown '08, Intel lanfest '09 Previous Clans/competitive gaming History:My first online game was Tribes (1998) and my first LAN game was Doom (1993) I have been into games since a child (the first game i played was mario land for the gameboy in 1989), mostly PC games because my brother was the one who owned the TV when we were little, and we had seperate rooms. But soon I become a PC only snob., probably around the time Hal life was released in late 1998. PC games are so much more competive in my opinion. When TFC was released in 1999, I was HOOKED. Every day after school in 8th grade I would play with my best friend. We formed a clan called Guardian Force [GF]. This was before team speak or ventrillo popularized VOIP, so I would call him every day and we would use comms just like our clan does now in TF2, needless to say I racked up quite a phone bill and my parents weren't pleased. I had dial up with 400+ ping, but even though pinged so high I still got very good at the game. I finally convinced my parents to get DSL in late 2000. I was in [GF] until 2001 or 2002 when I started playing the plethoria of Half Life mods that came out. I had been into first person shooters for awhile, I got really into Counter Strike around 2000 and was in CAL-M with my clan Dark Levitating Psychos. [-=DLP=-]. I played in CS with -=DLP=- until around 2002, when the mod Natural Selection was released for half life. I formed a -=DLP=- NS clan with my friend Jeff, and we played competivley. I learned a lot about teamwork from that game. Then also around 2002, another mod for halflife peaked my interested, called Action Halflife. This was the first FPS game where you could dive off buildings and do flips and jumps, I got VERY good at it, and I would always have the top score in public servers. In Summer of 2002, Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 was released, and I formed another sub division of -=DLP=- for JK2. Jk2 was the first game I scrimmed in. In 2005 I played in CAL-M for Counter strike source with a few members from my old -=DLP=- team. I started hosting lans in my parents basement when I lived with them, then in the Summer of 2005, I went to my first big lan, Ascendancy Gaming in San Francisco. I later met Whisp at the LAN, and when TF2 was released in October 2007, we formed BöNK with members of a ex COD2 clan, Trannyz. (Coolspot and Juice)
