So it's about that time again, PAX Prime 2011 is rapidly growing near. Since it was a blast last year, and the group we had for PAX East 2011 was awesome, we need to get a big crew together for the best gaming Event out there. With that said, here are the details:

When: August 26th-28th, 2011.
EVENT HOURS
Friday, Aug 26th, 2011 - 10am to 2am
Saturday, Aug 27th, 2011 - 10am to 2am
Sunday, Aug 28th, 2011 - 10am to 7pm

EXHIBIT HALL HOURS
Friday, Aug 26th, 2011 - 10am to 7pm
Saturday, Aug 27th, 2011 - 10am to 6pm
Sunday, Aug 28th, 2011 - 10am to 6pm

Where: Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Seattle, WA.

Accommodations: I will be allowing a limited number of BoNK members to crash at my place located about 15 minutes away in Bellevue, WA. If you are choosing to stay, let me know. I will expect some cash to offset the bodies, but it shouldn't be anywhere near the cost of a hotel.

General Cost: The three-day pre-registration rate is $55 (Expected)

Some Info to note:

In 2008 PAX had over 58,000 attendees.
In 2009, PAX had 60,750 attendees!!!
In 2010, PAX East sold out at over 52,000 in its first year.
Also in 2010, PAX Prime sold out at 67,600
and just a short few weeks ago, PAX East 2011 Sold out with 69,500 attendees.

Planning has not begun, but there usually is a PAX Train party that starts in San Diego, and works its way to Seattle. Attendees get on along the way. More info on this when I know.

Since PAX is downtown and everything that's worth eating will be closed by the time they close the doors each night, I recommend that everyone get delicious and cheap burgers up the hill from the convention center at Dick's Drive-In.

got my ticket, Any word on BYOC?

I'm gunna try to go but I need to see if I can get the money before it sells out.

There will be 80k-ish tickets so you probably have some time and I dont think the BYOC tickets are on sale yet.

Im ready for pax. I have my ticket and hotel. I am staying at the red lion.

They just put up on twitter that they expect to sell-out in 2 weeks.
